Fall is just around the corner and that means more nights outside and a trip to Yosemite with some friends and family. And with all of that time outdoors, bugs are bound to come with it. Bugs completely freak me out so when I heard that you could apply a spray to your clothes and it’d ward away the pesky things, I was all for it. This was especially perfect for my trip to Africa where the mosquitoes carry a host of diseases from malaria to West Nile to African sleeping sickness. How to do Harry Potter World Right… as an Adult

Harry Potter World for AdultsI don’t have kids yet, but I certainly didn’t let that hold me back from visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter last week. Originally, Boyfriend and I were set to fly home right after the cruise, but after I saw that Diagon Alley opened this past summer, I knew some things had to change. Thankfully, Delta changed one of our flights and so we called hoping that because they changed it first, we could change it to another day. It worked!

I’mmmm baaaaack! After 12 glorious days away from everything–yup, even blogging–I’ve returned to real life. Gone are the warm, crystal clear waters and lazy afternoon. Oh man, can someone please send me back there to write an article or something? Anyways, I wanted to put this together before I forgot. Why I Love Royal Caribbean Cruises

I love cruises. I love meeting new fun people. I love the number of activities at any given moment. But most of all, I love that I can visit multiple destinations without schlepping all of my luggage around. I’m not a light packer so being able to have a home base to come back to every day is fantastic. By visiting these destinations, I get a small taste of what the island’s like and learn which islands I’d want to return to. Take St. Lucia for example, I hadn’t even heard of the island before my Southern Caribbean cruise, but now it’s one of the top places I want to go back to. [Read more…]
